Toro's Under 8, Under 9 and Under 10 teams are not "tryout" teams. We will form teams as long as there are available players and qualified coaches. We actively seek players in these age groups in order to field as many teams as possible!
It is Toro's philosophy to group players of similar abilities together and to place these teams in leagues and divisions appropriate to their ability. We believe that this approach maximizes the development of each individual player, promotes team play and enhances each player's love of the game.
Fundamentals are stressed at this level with a goal of each player developing the proper technique to dribble, pass, receive, shoot and defend. Strong fundamentals at this level will provide a platform for the future.
Through out the year, we conduct joint training sessions and camps for all of the U8, U9 and U10 players. We try to build a strong community where all of our young players can learn and grow together. No reason our players can't meet some new friends and have some fun while improving their soccer skills.
Our U8, U9 and U10 teams participate through the ENSA (Eastern Nebraska Soccer Association) League. Games are typically played on weeknights with 7 field players and a goalie (8 v 8 format). Practices, training schedules and tournament participation is decided by the coach.

2008 Online Registration
To register for the Fall 2008 season, simply complete the online registration form, print the confirmation after submitting, and send your registration fee along with a copy of the registration confirmation.
